Welcome to MMF!
Manhattan Mennonite Fellowship is a missional church that endeavors to be a sign of the kingdom in New York City and the world by living out the teachings of the Gospel. We strive to have our vision for mission inform all aspects of our life as a church.
In our worship, we pledge allegiance to God and follow Jesus — the messiah of peace. In our witness, we aim to have our daily interactions with others be ones of love in word and deed. In our service, we reflect God's goodness through forgiveness, mutual aid, and hospitality. In our study of Scripture, we educate ourselves in discipleship, learning to minister to one to another as Jesus ministered to his followers.
In doing so, we accomplish the will of God for his people to be reconciled to him and to each other in the midst of a world set apart from his grace. In the face of a New York City where violence, hate, and blind patriotism have reshaped our daily existence, the mission of the church has become all the more urgent: more than ever we aim to seek the shalom of the city and the world.
