In observance of the 15th Annual Go Skateboarding Day, Manhattan Mennonite Fellowship and Skate4Jesus will host the inaugural Blessing of the Skateboards service on Sunday, June 17th at 5 PM.

The service will kick-off a week of skateboarding events in the city (and around the world). Go Skateboarding Day, an international event that encourages skateboarding, is on Thursday, June 21. And on June 23 our friends from Skate for Jesus will lead their annual Skate It Forward event where they distribute undergarments and sandwiches to the homeless and hurting. Bring your skateboards to get blessed and bring your lightly worn t-shirts, and fresh socks and underwear to donate to our street homeless friends.
